Type: Installation
Media: HMD, Stereo Camera, PC, Microphones, Headphones, Amplifier
This work invites visitors to navigate a designated area while wearing custom VR goggles. The visual field is computationally destabilized through perceptual distortions such as undulating ground surfaces and oscillating architectural structures, disrupting the visitor’s spatial orientation and capacity for ordinary movement. Simultaneously, moving objects generate word-like auditory phenomena, producing an experience that evokes auditory hallucination. The installation constructs an artificially mediated perceptual condition situated at the intersection of artificial intelligence, cognitive processing, and embodied perception. By inducing discrepancies between sensory input and perceptual interpretation, the work examines the instability of perceptual certainty and foregrounds the fragility of reality.
